Mickey attended Harper College and earned an Associates Degree in business and has had an active involvement in golf since 1995.  She came to Medina in 2010 from Arlington Heights, IL where she coached for Saint Viator High School Girls Golf and won 3 Conference Championships coached in 4 State tournaments.  Along with coaching, Mickey competed extensively and is a 9-time club champion, has accomplished 4 holes-in-one awards and began instructing golf in 2002.  Her personal goals for girls golf is to create an enjoyable, enthusiastic and competitive atmosphere where the players learn and experience the joy of playing golf.

In her 5 year tenure at Medina, Mickey has been involved in Medina City Schools as a substitute teacher's aide, instructs golf and has led Medina Girls Golf to a Conference Championship and an individual State Qualifier in 2013, District and State Qualifiers in 2014.  Mickey is #7 of 10 children and is married to Dennis McGrath who also substitute teaches in Medina City Schools and is the Assistant Girls Golf Coach. They also have 3 West highland Terriors, Shaunassey, Kinsale and Finnigan.  She loves to golf, cook, enjoy the outdoors and work with future golfers.
